- After a warm bath or other warming treatment.
- Always use Cooling Compress to head
- Can sit in tub or stand in shower with feet in Hot Foot Bath
- Begin with shoulders, chest and back, 3 pails
- First: 38-40°C, 100-104°F; Second:27-32°C, 80-90°F; Third: 18-27°C, 64-80°F
- As patient reacts decrease temperatures until third pail is 10-15°C, 50-59°F
- Rub vigorously after last pail and dry
