Problems:
Often there is enlarged painful, dysfunctional kidneys, usually liver disorders. See Uraemia for description.
Heavy tea and coffee consumption in a high protein, high purine diet predispose to eclampsia.
Treatment:
These treatments relieve Renal Congestion and Renal Inactivity also apply for each convulsion
Very successful:
- hypotonic saline Enema 500ml then
- full Hot Blanket Pack and Hot Water Bottle 30min with
- soda lemon juice drinking during the pack
- Cooling Compress to head and Precordial Compress followed by:
- light Cold Mitten Friction or tepid Sponge then wrapped in dry blankets to continue sweating
- free Water Drinking (even normal saline drip)
- Hot Water Bottle may be needed over kidneys during pack
Some recommend:
- full Hot Tub Bath with starting at 36°C going up to 40°C With
- cold Pail Pour to head
