Indications:
- delayed labour of Childbirth
- cold over lower abdomen
- short, sudden cold to breasts
- Alternate Compress to lower abdomen or breasts
- hot Vaginal Irrigation
- Amenorrhoea
- short Cold Douche to lumbar region

Oxytocic effect:- i.e to induce contraction of uterine muscles and prevent use of forceps
- short intermittent Ice Bag or Cooling Compress to lower abdomen or breasts at the beginning of the contraction.
